I wish I could let you taste these delicious cherry tomatoes from the Golden Taste brand. At first they look like all other cherry tomatoes, but this flavour is really different from what you are used to. The difference is mainly related to the very high brix* levels, aroma and the sweet and spicy taste.
Differences in taste can also be discovered between the different colours red, orange and yellow.
It might surprise you, but the Golden Orange has a higher Brix level than the red variety. This orange tomato can achieve a brix level with a maximum of 12%. It has a firm bite because it has a somewhat firmer skin and also a strong, sweet scent.
Both the red and yellow varieties, have brix levels between 7.5 and 10.5%. I did not expect that! I assumed the red variety would have been sweeter. So what you see is not always what you get :-) And the bite of these tomatoes is a bit softer in the beginning.
Brown is the new black
In addition, BE Fresh has an exclusive tomato variety at its disposal; the brown tomato. Not standard red, but this special tomato variety is very popular in the Middle and Far East. Why?
The colour is unique! A real eye-catcher on the plate. This firm tomato has a hard bite with a sweet taste and the ratio between the flesh and the juice is good. In terms of size, this brown variety fits in nicely with the red, yellow and orange Golden Taste tomatoes.
Exclusive deliveries
BE Fresh is the only supplier that can deliver both, the Golden Taste cherry tomatoes and the popular brown tomatoes, to you all over the world in the Far and Middle East, Africa and America.

* Brix value, what is that?
The Brix level tells you how many dissolved natural sugars is present in a product. This value is given in percentage Brix. The higher the Brix value, the sweeter the taste.
